How It Started
PSG was Inspired by 1980s Hip Hop pioneers RUN DMC and LL Cool J, Eric B and Rakim, and Big Daddy Kane.
PSG loved the distinct beats and flow of the lyrical content and the cultural representation and as a teen he started by emulating his
favourite Hip Hop artists until developing his own signature sound. However the 25+ years career of performing to crowds and audiences
all began when his brother a Scratch DJ Starski Gee bought him his first mic after recognising his talents and their mutual love of music.
Soon the 16 year old PSG was travelling all over London doing shows and being featured on pirate stations including the
iconic Jungle and Kool FM.
During the height of the UKG era, PSG travelled the globe to destinations like the UAE, USA, Cyprus, Spain and
The Netherlands to mention a few, MC’in in the hottest clubs in legendary holiday resorts such as Ayia Napa, Ibiza, Malia, Zante and
Marbella much to the delight of every promoter.

and producers by negotiating deals with record labels and publishers.

The Man Behind The Sound
Born to a single parent family, in 1972, PSG’s first home was the Oliver Close estate in Leyton. Growing up during the 70s and 80s
when UK football hooliganism was at its worst and the emergence of cable networks like MTV, introduced the music video and launched
the careers of many iconic artists. It was also a defining time where black culture began crossing over to the mainstream
and also saw the release of the 1st Nintendo GameBoy and the rise of Sony Walkman.

his has mentored numerous young adults including UK artist Chipmunk who credits part of his success to Paul’s open and honest at times,
candid mentors style.
PSG shows no signs of slowing down, despite the thousands of performances over the last 25+ years and hundreds of thousands of
miles travelled across the World and why would he???

And how can one person achieve all of this and continue to evolve??
PSG bases his unstoppable work ethic on this mantra,
“In your mind , If you think you can achieve somthing, it’s true and in your
mind if you think you can’t achieve something, it’s true . The choice is yours”
